I'm trying to get away from carpet and if the bathroom has hair on the walls, yeah, those are my reflects. Also if the toilet paper is not folded. Speaker 2All that stuff costs money. So these are things that I am fully aware of and I know that, and those do cost money when you upgrade from a red roofing to a AC hotel. That's all I'm gonna say. My hotel red flags are yeah, if they don't have hardwood, because I feel like it's easier to clean hardwood than it is to clean carpet and I do occasionally like to walk barefoot. Another thing is the lighting. Hotel lighting is always terrible. Third thing is they don't have like a smart TV. You don't need to have a Vizio in there, even though they are very smart TVs, but if it's just like a regular ass TV and it don't have no cable. I don't know. The beginning of the year I stayed in the Langham, which is like a luxury five star hotel, and I'm kind of like I haven't stayed in a hotel since. But I just feel like I will be comparing every hotel to that experience, because it was a great experience.
Speaker 1And you see what I'm saying the value tier. And then motherfucker wanna stay in a five star.
Speaker 2Yeah, but I mean, I wasn't going on like a trip where I was not gonna be in the hotel, it was a staycation. So the primary point of being in the hotel was or booking that hotel, was to spend time in the hotel, and I'm sure that they're aware of that, the people who built the hotel are aware of that, which is why they make the hotel experience one that you don't wanna leave.
Speaker 1I just feel like they had, they're all gone. Cause I was talking about the hotel experience. Yeah, I was gonna say they had excuse me like multiple restaurants on the main floor.
Speaker 2They called you, mrs when you checked in. They asked you what you were there for. They had somebody playing the harp. The harp, they had a spa it was a lot of stuff a pool, a lot of stuff and they were like also playing the harp, a pool, a lot of stuff. And there were also people there who were there for staycations and one of the people I met in the hotel was saying like these are the different hotels you need to go to if you're looking to do like Chicago staycations.
